Mobile Lab 2- Korea “K-lab2”
A fully equipped Mobile Lab was delivered to the Nakdong River, South Korea, 2022.
The Mission
After the success of K-lab1, another Korean customer (Nakdong River) showed interest in the FluxSense Mobile Lab solution for emission measurements and leak search of VOCs and other gases. The project was also this time done in cooperation with our Korean partner BK Instruments Inc (BKI).
Four FluxSense instrument systems; MeDOAS, SkyDOAS, MeFTIR and SOF, were installed plus associated equipment such as valves, pumps, computers and software, complete with a wind mast station and an electrical power system. All equipment was installed in a customized Hyundai Solati at BK Instruments headquarters in Daejeon.
The end-user received their Mobile Lab inJuly 2022 and their personnel immediately received theoretical and in-field training in Daejeon and Ulsan industrial complex under guidance of our experts. The FluxSense Mobile Lab will help Nakdongs River to monitor emissions, map concentrations in real-time and evaluate emission reduction measures from different industries, mainly in the Ulsan region.
