SkyDOAS

The SkyDOAS (Sky Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy) instrument system measures atmospheric emissions (flux) of SO2, NO2 and HCHO using zenith-scattered solar UV-light (SkyDOAS). The system consists of a UV-Spectrometer Unit and a Solar Telescope. The system also includes a control unit, an optical fiber and a mounting beam. IT-infrastructure including GPS-receiver, computer and monitor can also be provided on request.

Note: the SkyDOAS system requires a mobile platform (vehicle) with zenith sky access of the Solar Telescope.

Note: Local wind measurements are needed for the flux calculations.
